[NES] Super Mario Bros 3 (mini-game) - Mario!

the first piece out of two that I created based from the Super Mario 3 battle mini-game while playing two-players together.  thought these sprites were adorable, and seemed to be representations quite unique compared to what how most Mario sprites were drawn later in the series.   also love how his hair drapes behind his ears haha!  such a cute figure mario has in this sprite. 

hope you all enjoy this one, you can see the second piece of the set below.  the two made to compliment one another, yet using the same pigment mix for luigi's background as mario's hat, shirt, and shoes seems to be a bit overbearing.  i do still enjoy the luigi piece a lot though, and plan on doing more luigi art with less a heavy background.
