Trainer in Combat by nintentofu Trainer in Combat by nintentofu
from Pokémon Blue/Red, comes Red / Ash Ketchum's Combat Sprite created with Hama / Perler Beads.

it's been a long while since I have been able to craft anything, and i've been wanting to make this sprite for quite some time now. had to buy some light grey beads from ebay to complete him.

perhaps i'll glue a magnet to this. @__@

I was just wondering, I have black and white and the light grey beads, but what are the dark grey ones?

His name is Red, not Ash.
Get it right.

Good job, though. :D

"Red, the silent protagonist of Pokémon Red and Blue and it's remakes, Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, has several default names, one of which is "Red". Others include "Ash" and "Jack".

Good to read it brings back memories for you. : ) If only it wasn't so out of control, the whole pokemon craze. It seems impossible to literally "catch em all" ! ^__^

Yeah, stopped to buy the games after the first 300 I think. After that, they became lame, the Pokémon. =(

For sure, seems a little ridiculous. I'm sure they are each great games, but playing them would mean I'd have no time to play the other games I love and cherish. ;D I'm freaking hooked on TF2 atm.

Very nice! That is a great game. Although I wish the online play was a coded better, for sometimes it can get a little laggy. :(

I know, I couldn't find any, anywhere for the longest time. I sent zaghrenaut on da.com a Note asking him about dark red beads, etc, and he directed me to the place he purchases his beads. [link]

From there, I found she sells New Hama Light Grey beads! + Many other shades that are nearly impossible to get through Perler.

A best friend of mine :iconresetsurvivor:, actually was the person who got me into Pokemon. He let be borrow the very first one for Gameboy and I actually was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I've always been a fan of RPG's and didn't think Pokemon would be as great compared to the other games I was into, but I have to say that it definitely held it's ground in terms of originality, gameplay, and storyline.

It wasn't over complex or hard to learn. But, I would assume that the more recent games (the hundred of them ^___^ ) are more challenging with harder content, etc. But to be honest I have not played any other Pokemon game besides Snap, and the first for gameboy.

I know there's one (at least one, maybe more) for GBA, perhaps I should check it out some time.

You should man, my friend William has played many of the Pokemon games and he really enjoys the GBA ones. Just make sure not to get too hooked on the game. ^__^

Hehe, yes I know exactly how that can be. Have you played the game Mafia (released on the PC)? I heard that it was rather addictive because of its good gameplay and story, so I tried to avoid it, but eventually I just had to try it and sure enough I didn't do much else the next three days haha.
