Mario Castle - Pixel Cube Anim by nintentofu Mario Castle - Pixel Cube Anim by nintentofu
I was somewhat bored the other night, and had this idea for creating sprite art remakes in a somewhat 3d pixel cube look.

This is my first shot at transforming classic sprites into something new but I think it turned out ok.

Yeah, I agree it's definitely not the same as the classics. I purchased a Wii, and it is very awesome because you can actually purchase the oldschool nintendo games that many of us grew up playing. So it's nice to be able to play the real thing, instead of on a PC emulator or new version remakes.

Where do you get the old school games for the Wii at anyway?

The Wii has a series of "Channels" that you can view, so if you have wireless internet access or the wii's usb adapter, you can go to the "Wii Shop Channel" from the main screen and they have hundreds of classic games that you can purchase directly to your Wii console.

Oh....I really need to get a Wi-Fi set up...I tried with the adapters once, but we only have one internet port and its in the opposite room than the Wii is

You can get a wireless wi-fi Router from wal-mart or any other store for about $50.00. Or you could get a long stretch of ethernet cable or something to extend the internet port. But the wi-fi would probably be the best bet. : )

Could you make a Mushroom pixel cube animation?

That'd be cool.

Of course! Do you care what sprite version / color / type of mushroom? As in, power up mushroom, 1-up mushroom, and from what game version? If you have something in mind, or if you would rather be surprised, I am ok either way.
